Enter the original section of Keokuk National Cemetery at the end of 18th Street. The original section has burial sections A–F and H, a lodge, and a post section.

Enter the western section from J Street. Take the first right and the administration building and burial section M are on the right and columbarium 1 and burial section L are on the left. The committal shelter and burial sections G and K are on the far side of the cemetery from J Street. Burial section J is to the left of the entrance and burial section I is in the center of the cemetery.
